Kyrie Irving still has a heart for his old high school, St. Patrick High School (now Patrick School) in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Irving's latest kind gesture was towards a young 12-year-old named Spencer Joyner, who has been diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri. Psuedotumor cerebri brings on consistent headaches and even vision loss.
Irving has decided to pay his tuition. "It made me feel really good and lucky to have one of my favorite players do that," said Joyner.
Irving also paid for Nixon Geraldo's funeral, a 14-year-old boy who collapsed on the basketball court and later died. He attended the same school as Joyner does.
Rapper Future attended the Atlanta Falcons game hosting the Seattle Seahawks. He has his eyes on one particular player on the Seahawks. The Atlanta rapper was in a promising relationship with Ciara until she met Russell Wilson. Now Future's ex-girlfriend is married to Wilson and is expecting a kid.
There was a petition for Future to do the national anthem circulating around the internet, but he attended as just a fan.
Earlier this morning San Diego Chargers chairman Dean Spanos has announced that the team will relocate to Los Angles. That will be the second NFL team to operate in that area (the other is the Rams). The organization has been there since 1961 and this will be the last time you will see the team wearing a bolt. Yes they have not won a Superbowl yet, but the team deserves to stay in San Diego.
There was little reason as to why the sudden urge to move and fans are not taking the news well. There have been reports of fans driving by stadiums honking and throwing up their middle fingers and now egging a park in San Diego.
