Vikings Pro-Bowl DE Everson Griffen Plays Game With Misspelled Jersey

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

You would think after seven years on the roster the Vikings would remember how to spell Everson Griffen's name properly. He is a pro-bowl caliber player that receives plenty of attention by the media. Somebody within the organization had to pay attention to his name on the roster sheets.

Everson took the field today wearing a jersey that was not his. It had his usual No. 97, but the name spelled out Griffin, not Griffen.

It didn't seem to bother him much, but was humorous to see anyways. As long has he is winning games and making bank, he could probably care less what it says on the back of his jersey.

The Vikings advance to be the only undefeated team left this season.
