Cam Newton Dresses as Santa and Donates $30K to Buy Backpacks for Kids

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton loves the kids and the holidays. The media often hides some of his charitable acts while other pointless flaws such as failing dress code are blown up. A handful of people will still look at Cam as racist, arrogant, moody, and a thug, but you can not dismiss the fact that he does so much for the kids around Charlotte.

Newton has enjoyed changing up his outfits this season. It is only right that during the month of December he is walking around in a Santa outfit. As part of the Christmas spirit he has teamed up with Food Lion to provide children in need with backpacks. He donated $30k to start a program.
