Video: Pittsburgh Penguins Reenactment of the Movie "ELF"

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team is feeling the Christmas spirit this week. The Penguins are first place in the Eastern Conference and looking to spread more holiday cheer. The team got together to create their own humorous version of the Christmas movie "ELF."

Several of the players take turns subbing in for Will Ferrell who plays Buddy, the not-so-small elf embarking on a journey to find his real father in NYC. Sidney Crosby has the honors of saying "son of a nutcracker."

Buddy explains how to get in the Christmas spirit by saying "the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."
